CGRundertow CONFLICT: DESERT STORM 2 BACK TO BAGHDAD for Xbox Video Game Review

Conflict: Desert Storm 2- Back to Baghdad review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Conflict: Desert Storm 2 for the original Xbox

Released in 2003, this game was developed by Pivotal Games and was published by Gotham Games. You control four squad-mates during the Gulf War, and although the squad mechanics and certain level designs are really interesting, the shooting just feels dated in an industry featuring games like Ghost Recon. Even so, this could be a lot of fun to play with a friend on the couch with you.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Conflict Desert Storm 2: Back to Baghdad for the original Xbox and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Gabe.

  1. I want these games back. I was about 11 when these games were coming out and I remember them being hardcore as heck.

  2. I can't remember if it was this particular game or the first one, but I remember when I was really young and I watched my older brothers play this on 2 player co-op. And man it looked impressive as hell.

  3. Wait, he leaves a bad review on AI that were designed over 10 years before he played it?

  4. I hate reviewers like you. You didn't even take into account that this game was made back in 1999 and was finally released to the xbox in 2001. The hit detection on this game was solid, idkwtf you're talking about. You need to learn how to shoot. You treat this game like a modern day run-n-gunner, when in reality this game is a strategy/military game where you have objectives to meet, not a body count quota. You should really appreciate the work that went into the shooting on this game; You actually need to lead when shooting (especially sniper), bullet's ricochet, tracer rounds look beautiful, hit detection is accurate. There is so much more to this game then what you said. Take my advice, sit back, take ur time, play this game using different strategies, it's really a fun, well thought out game.
